How to Flush Your Power Steering Fluid - DIY and Save Money

Here is how you can completely flush or change your power steering fluid. Whether you need to replace your power steering fluid due to age as a maintenance item, or you have replaced a power steering component like a pressure hose or your rack n pinion (power steering gear) you need to get all the old fluid and any air bubbles that might still be in the system out. Otherwise you are going to have a noisy power steering pump. Now a noisy power steering pump could also be due to a loose or over tightened power steering pump belt so keep that in mind.
