Journey to the Son: A Celebration of Son House
Blues harpmaster Jerry Portnoy has shared the stage with Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton and other music giants. At this event, he shares his stories of a life in the blues.

Fielding Stage, Geva Theatre
The Institute recently partnered with the Geva Theatre Center on a celebration of the life and music of blues musician Son House. Journey to the Son included a reading of a play commissioned especially for the event, concerts, and four days of workshops and seminars. The Institute recorded most of the seminars.
