Temescal Canyon Trail - 4K Walking Tour - Pacific Palisades, CA

Temescal Canyon Trail is a popular hiking trail located in the Pacific Palisades area of California. The trail is approximately 3 miles round trip (although this video only goes about halfway to the waterfall) and offers stunning views of the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. The trailhead is located at the end of Temescal Canyon Road, where there is a parking lot available for hikers. There is a $10 fee so if you want to avoid that like I did, try and find street parking across from the highschool on Sunset Blvd by Temescal Canyon Rd. The trail starts off with a steep climb, but levels out after about half a mile. Along the way, hikers will encounter a variety of flora and fauna, including oak trees, sagebrush, and wildflowers.

One of the highlights of the Temescal Canyon Trail is the stream and waterfall that flows through the area. The recent rain has made the trail a bit muddy, but the stream and waterfall are currently flowing really well, making for a beautiful sight. The sound of the water is soothing and provides a nice break for hikers.
