Magnus and Gordon Gallery presents..Adding layers of color...wool sculpture making a realistic peacock.
Felt from natural fibers like wool is considered to be the oldest known textile.
Using barbed needles the end product is produced by matting, condensing and pressing fibers together. I like to needle felt birds, there are so many different species, and they are very colorful.
