Last year, in June of 2024, one of my old backyard wrestling friends Scott Henson died at the age of 40. In the following weeks I put together a four and half hour long tribute video - a program of matches he had over in the UK during the late 2000s, along with messages and memories from our backyard community remembering Scott.
Now that we're a year our from his passing, I thought I'd share part of the introduction to that piece, a montage of his wrestling life (in the briefest of terms, Scott's career as a wrestler and backyarder was prolific) that I put together to memorialise his unique style and presence.
