To the beat of drums and Latin music, hundreds of people shrieked with excitement as a party of scantily-clad women danced their way along St. Clair Avenue in midtown Toronto on the second and final day Sunday, July 10, of the Salsa on St. Clair Festival, which began on Saturday, July 9. The festivities, one of many in this multicultural city, are a glorious welcome to the ending of isolation, lockdowns, and quarantine that had been forced by the coronavirus pandemic two and half years ago.
