BNSF was doing 'high-speed' (up to 40mph) train testing from San Dimas (CA) to Glendora on Saturday October 26, 2024. The eastbound train is seen crossing Lone Hill Ave from the parking lot of WalMart. Because the A-Line is now basically completed, BNSF Irwindale local will no longer have to stop and proceed at the crossings. The freight(s) should now be able to proceed straight without needing to stop and proceed.
The bridge is the very new impressive structure that was built to carry the A-line trains over Lone Hill Ave., which gets very busy due to its proximity to the 210 and 57 freeways.
