How do you open a spring brake chamber? | Safe, step-by-step technique

In this video, we show you how to safely and technically open a parking brake chamber (also known as a spring brake).
First, we remove the spring with the original screw that comes with the unit, turning it until it is fully compressed. Then, we machine the safety rivet on the lathe to separate the chamber. Once opened, we take the assembly to the hydraulic press to release the spring and check its condition.

This process is delicate and requires experience, precision, and responsibility.
