This is a simple tutorial on how to cross over ice skating forward.
In this video, I’ll show you how to cross over both sides whether you’re a righty or a lefty, either by holding the wall or going straight into it.
Crossing over can be a bit challenging especially if you’re a beginner, that’s why towards the end of the video I recommended using a helper I.e the seal, penguin or any your rink can provide. Holding onto any of the helper can help you gain more confidence to crossover.
One important thing to note is that, which ever way you’re crossing, always stay on the inside edge on the outside foot and on the inside edge for the crossing foot.
