Happy to share this Finale episode of this part of Musically Yours.

Musically Yours aimed at documenting and sharingmy musical journey with my rasikas.
It was a sincere endeavour to offer
to my rasikas, students and parents of students a small insight into the depth of this great art and share some ideas and thoughts that have been in the mind for a long time.

We had chosen three broad categories viz. Inspirations, Experiences and
LyricScope to be the themes through which I could express different
aspects of this wonderful journey.

These concepts, though they have different meanings, share a common thread.

In Inspirations, we talked about the great musicians whom I admire, the
book that had a profound impact on my thinking and the Raga
which resonated with me.

Experiences delved into my delightful interactions with rasikas, my gurus,
my students and some hilarious incidents during concerts.

In LyricScope we tried to explore the minds of great composers and get a glimpse of their genius. In one episode we talked about the parallels in compositions of the great Shyama Sastry and Dikshithar. In another episode, we explained how grateful Saint Thyagaraja was to God who succinctly gives us lessons in steadfast devotion, Bhakthi towards this great art form and humility.

Life imparts countless valuable lessons through the experiences we gather, the inspirations we receive, and the deeper understanding we attain.

We hope you enjoyed Musically Yours as much as we enjoyed bringing
it to you.
