After travelling from Hull via the Humber ferry and then by train from New Holland pier, Joseph & Jessie enjoy a day on the beach with their daughter Janet and her family, husband Cyril and children Roger & Jane.

Beverley born and bred, Joseph Wilson worked in Hull as a detective constable with British Transport Police and served with distinguished service in the Green Howards. Joseph enjoyed nothing better than filming family events, his holidays at home and abroad plus capturing his home town and place of work. He used to shoot in colour film which was much more expensive than the commonly used monochrome. His films now stand as documents of life in a different time and grow more important with each passing year. Enjoy!
