Denali in September and the first Northern Lights

Okay, did I tell you I went to Denali in September? Seems like with all the work on the Salcha River I did not find the right time to post this video. But here it is now. I went to Denali mid of September. It was a weekend, it was the road lottery weekend. And even with the road lottery being canceled this year Denali attracted soooo manu visitors that it wasn't almost too many. Anyhow, with that said, I will take you on a short drive into the park. The road was open to mile 30 and that's where I went. I hikes the Savage Loop trail and visited Horseshoe Lake.

Also the northern lights season started and we had some fantastic aurora appearances. But usually I was way too tired from our work on the Salcha. But this one time I stayed up and caught the lights for you. Enjoy. There will be so many more during the winter.
