【農作業日記-4/23】排水草刈り＆芝刈り

サンデーファームでは、毎日午後から農作業を行っています。その農作業の模様を1年間公開して、季節ごとの農作業を楽しんで頂ければと思います。代表のMassey フルタは、午前中はソフトウェア会社のアプリ開発を行い、午後からサンデーファームの作業するのが日課です。

今日は、牛舎横の田んぼの排水路の草刈りと芝刈りの様子です。

3月以降毎月草を刈る作業があります。今回は今年2回目、排水路に水が流れ始める来月には、排水路に入って刈ることはできなくなるので、今回は気合を入れて、綺麗にします。上からと下からの両方から刈っていきます。最後は借り落とした草をホークで上げていきます。

芝刈りは、今年からお世話になるマサオ（芝刈り機）で行いました。こちらも最後の仕上げは、仮払いで木の下や、際を刈りました。

At Sunday Farm, we do farm work every afternoon. We will be sharing the details of our farm work throughout the year so that you can enjoy the seasonal activities. The representative, Massey Furuta, works on app development at a software company in the mornings and does farm work at Sunday Farm in the afternoons as part of his daily routine.

Today, we are mowing the grass and cutting the lawn along the drainage ditch in the rice field next to the cowshed.

Starting in March, we will be mowing the grass every month. This is the second time this year, and next month, when water starts flowing in the drainage ditch, we will no longer be able to mow inside the ditch, so we will put in extra effort this time to make it look nice and clean. We will mow from both the top and the bottom.

We mowed the lawn with Masao (lawn mower), which we started using this year. We also did the final touches, mowing under the trees and around the edges, on a provisional payment basis.
