This video is a tribute to slow travel, to the iconic Guaguas of Gran Canaria, and to the beauty of exploring the island the way locals do — one bus ride at a time.

🌄 What This Video Is About

We start by welcoming the early morning breeze in Playa del Inglés, hop on the first buses of the day, travel through Maspalomas and the dunes area, then climb deep into the mountains on the legendary Line 18, also known as the circular service for Roque Nublo and Pico de las Nieves.

Along the way we discover the charming village of Fataga, the artistic atmosphere of the Galería de Arte Escuela de Fataga, continue to the highland town of San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Tunte), and move higher to the viewpoint lands of Cruz de Tejeda.

From here, the journey continues toward the lively agricultural town of San Mateo, dressed in beautiful Christmas decorations, before descending toward the capital Las Palmas de Gran Canaria — where the festive spirit fills Triana and Parque San Telmo.

Finally, as night settles, we take the last bus home with the warm glow of holiday lights still in the air.
