Summer student uses laser tech to transform cell treatment

How do you deliver medicine inside a single cell without using harmful chemicals? This summer at Harvard SEAS, REU student Emma is helping develop a groundbreaking cell therapy using microfluidic devices and lasers to safely treat cells from the inside out. Working at the intersection of biology and engineering, she's gaining hands-on experience with next-generation tools to advance more effective, scalable treatments for patients worldwide.
