A Conversation on Fatherhood & Mental Health
Societal expectations around masculinity continue to shape how fathers and men broadly express and navigate the emotional challenges of fatherhood. Today, many fathers are redefining caregiving roles in the home and actively challenging traditional gender norms within the family.
In honour of International Men’s Day, APEC Ghana sought to bridge this gap by creating a platform where men can discuss their mental health challenges, share experiences, and access resources. This project aligns with APEC Ghanaś mission to reduce maternal and infant mortality by strengthening family support structures and fostering healthier, more inclusive environments.
