We Took a Day Trip to Blackpool… During a STORM!

We travelled to Blackpool during Storm Claudia, and let’s just say… it was NOT the day out we expected! The rain was horizontal, the wind was wild, and almost everything in Blackpool was closed. But in true Northern style, we decided to make the best of it — exploring the Blackpool seafront in the storm, sheltering in some cracking little pubs, and grabbing proper Fish and Chips to keep our spirits up.

What started as a simple UK day trip quickly turned into a stormy Blackpool adventure, complete with soaked clothes, wild waves hitting the Promenade, shuttered attractions, and even a cancelled train home. It took us 4.5 hours to get back thanks to the weather chaos, but we still managed to have a good laugh along the way.

Join us as we explore Blackpool in bad weather, take cover in cosy pubs, walk the windswept seafront, and try our best not to get blown back to the North Pier. If you enjoy funny travel vlogs, British humour, pub hopping, and seeing the seaside in a totally different light, you’ll love this one.
