In this video we ride from Bui to Addis Ababa, witnessing the immediate aftermath of armed conflict in Ethiopia. Along the way, we encounter burned vehicles and eerily quiet villages, realizing the unrest had occurred just a day before our passage.
Once in Addis Ababa, we immerse ourselves in the city’s rich heritage and culture, exploring its fascinating museums and vibrant history. However, our travel plans take an unexpected turn when we learn we cannot renew our Ethiopian visas. Instead, we secure visas for Somaliland in northern Somalia, prompting us to venture east into the Horn of Africa.
