The sixth annual Detroit Black Film Festival is underway and takes place at various venues in the city through September 28. One Detroit contributor and American Black Journal host Stephen Henderson sits down with festival co-founders Lazar and Marshalle Favors.
They discuss how the event celebrates the creativity and talent of Black filmmakers and actors, showcasing 72 independent films from 30 countries.
