I am taking my new Skilsø 35 Fly made by Viknes in Bergen. This is a quality boat made for the North Sea and can handel the trip from Bergen to Oslo, about 500 NM. This is the third brand of boats I have had as a holiday boat. After having to Marex boats (280 Holiday and 320 ACC) and then the Botnia Targa 32. So I wanted another boat that I knew was good at sea and also had good acommendations on board. Marex was good on the living space and Targa was good at sea. Skilsø/Viknes combines this to boats in a good way. And did not want another boat with stern Drives and Volvo. I wanted Yammer and shaft drive which I had on my 2 Marex boats.

Røvær is a small archipelago located approximately 10 kilometers northwest of Haugesund, Norway. The islands cover an area of about 1.4 square kilometers and have a population of around 80 residents. Accessible by a 25-minute boat ride from Haugesund, Røvær is a car-free community where inhabitants primarily engage in fishing, aquaculture, agriculture, and tourism. The island features amenities such as a school, kindergarten, grocery store, and accommodations like the Røvær Kulturhotell. Visitors can explore historical sites, including traces of settlements dating back to the early Iron Age, and enjoy natural attractions like hiking trails and beaches.
