Exploring Pahalgam in Rain | Betab Valley, Mamal Temple, Kashmiri Dress & Cab Overcharge Story

Our plan was to explore Pahalgam, but as they say — God had different plans! 🌧️
It rained continuously all night, delaying our start. Once the rain stopped, we began our day with a comforting bowl of hot Maggi 😋 and then explored some of the most beautiful spots in Pahalgam.

We visited:
📍 Betab Valley – Enjoyed the stunning views and dressed up in traditional Kashmiri attire for some memorable photos.
📍 Mamal Temple – A peaceful and historic shrine near Pahalgam.
📍 Lavender Park & Fragrance Park – A colorful and refreshing experience!
📍 Gurudwara Pahalgam – Felt blessed and even had food at the langar 🙏
📍 Gowrishankar Temple – Another serene spiritual stop.

Unfortunately, our day ended with a bit of disappointment — we were overcharged ₹2500 for a cab ride under 20 km! 😤 Sharing this experience so future travelers can avoid similar issues.

Despite the rain and hiccups, Pahalgam’s beauty made it all worthwhile! 💚
