Kingdom Hearts is dearly beloved and close to my heart, but a lot of the reason why is owed to its opening, its introduction, the way it portrays our characters and introduces them to us in those crucial opening moments. Sora, Riku and Kairi are all special in their own way, and the latter two will come to mean a lot for both our protagonist and the player, who will be reminded of them throughout the game.

But whether it comes to the opening Simple and Clean cutscene, the realm of darkness and Dive into the Heart, or Destiny Islands itself, there's so much to talk about here.
