It's Winging It Week 49 and our December colour prompt is Metallic. In this video, we will use metallic threads and fabrics to make cogs and gears.
In many ways, this is a really simple piece, but metallic threads are notoriously tricky to work with. Hopefully, I will be able to give you some helpful tips along the way to help you get a great result.
To stitch along you will need:
10x10cm felt square with 1cm border marked on all sides
Metallic fabric
Metallic threads
Sequins, beads, watch parts, cog and gear embellishments
Needle
Embroidery scissors
Heat tool or tea light
Heat erase pen
Circle template
