An NDA cadet died during a supervised swimming practice session....😐

An 18-year-old first-term cadet at the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune, Aditya D. Yadav, drowned during a supervised swimming practice session on Thursday, October 23, 2025. The incident occurred during a session for weaker swimmers and marks the second cadet death at the academy this month. 😐

पुणे स्थित राष्ट्रीय रक्षा अकादमी (एनडीए) के 18 वर्षीय प्रथम-टर्म कैडेट, आदित्य डी. यादव, गुरुवार, 23 अक्टूबर, 2025 को एक निगरानीयुक्त तैराकी अभ्यास सत्र के दौरान डूब गए। 😐

Cadet ka naam Aditya D. Yadav (18 saal) tha, jo 154th course ka hissa tha.

Ghatna 23 October 2025, shaam lagbhag 5 baje ke aas-paas hui.

Yeh swimming session un cadets ke liye tha jinko “weak swimmers” category me rakha gaya tha, aur sab kuch instructor ke supervision me chal raha tha.

Jab cadets swimming pool ke width cross kar rahe the, tab Aditya ko paani ke upar motionless (behosh) halat me dekha gaya.

Do lifeguards ne turant use bahar nikala, CPR aur medical aid di gayi, aur fir Military Hospital, Khadakwasla le jaaya gaya — par unki jaan nahi bachai ja saki.
