So this video is dedicated to Kerrie. She pulled up lame this past Thursday. It's really a deja vu because she pulled up lame this time last year and was out for basically the whole summer. Right now, she goes up and down. She's lame one minute, next minute she seems sound, then she's lame again. It really isn't fair. She was coming along SO great these past couple months. The vet was just out an hour ago and it turns out that Kerrie has a soft tissue suspensory injury from being turned out last week. She needs at least two weeks stall rest and then a reevaluation. If nothing changes, she will need an ultra sound and xrays. Im really hoping it doesn't come to that and that after two weeks she will be ok. The problem is the soft tissue is very fragile so she could seem fine in two weeks and then become instantly lame again if it gets too stressed. Time will tell.
