*This is a song characterized played by Maria Clara in Jose Rizal's Opera Noli me Tangere, music by Felipe Padilla de Leon. In this scene, Maria Clara expressed her love for the country. Curiously his son, Felipe "Jun" Mendoza de Leon, composed another version of the song, using a different translation od text altogether which was considered as a Kundinan song.
