Darmstadt, Germany: U.S. Lincoln Village Housing Area Tour In 2020!

Here's the legendary and widely treasured; U.S. Milcom's former Lincoln Village, in the beautiful, quaint, science city of Darmstadt, Germany - as of Jan. 3, 2020. Well, at least what's left of the former U.S.' Lincoln Village! Lincoln Village deactivated during September 2008.

Gerda Lynn Wombacher Pate & Otis Cue Pate are Frankfurt American High School Alumni Eagles. F.A.H.S. was located in Frankfurt, Germany, and we both graduated with the Class of 1985. F.A.H.S., which was anchored on the Abrams Building Compound, closed during the Summer of 1995.

Lynn is an U.S. Air-force Veteran. She served her country bravely and faithfully from 1986 -1990. She also received an honorable discharge and then promptly moved back to Germany to be with her family, as her Mom, Gerda, who was German/Prussian (passed September 2019) - lived in Darmstadt, Germany with Lynn's brother Laurence Wombacher, and her U.S. military retired Father, James Wombacher (passed December 2014), who was from North America, and was born in Fresno, California.
