This patient suffered 5 different migraine manifestations with independent treatments for each for 20 years before a migraine diagnosis was considered. Her response in the first 6 weeks of treatment are impressive. This highlights the wide range of symptoms that can be created by hyperactivity in the trigemino-cervical complex which is the fusion of the nuclei of the upper cervical nerve nuclei and the trigeminal nucleus.
