In 2020, we sailed from Safaga at the Red Sea to Athens. After passing the Suez Canal, we left the Star Clipper in Port Said and went on an excursion to Cairo for two days, visiting the Egyptian Museum and the pyramids in Giza. We subsequently re-joined the Star Clipper in Alexandria, sailing on to Rhodes and Athens. A remarkable excursion, simply a must!
