But Google has decided to give those of us using the free version of Google Analytics a taste of what’s possible with Google Data Studio.


Doughnut charts display our data in a circular visualization, with sections like slices by representing our data series.
The sizes of the slices are proportional to the quantity or relative value of the metric we are plotting.
In general, Doughnut charts are most useful when comparing a few data points with relatively large differences in proportion between the values.
Doughnut charts display large numbers of series with minor variations in the data that can be confusing to our viewers of the chart.
