This video shows how to strip down a steering column from a BL Mazda 3 to remove and replace the ignition switch inclusive of removing the key barrel.
Please make sure you have disconnected the battery before you disconnect the driver's airbag.
Key blank part number (genuine Mazda): G2YA-76-2GXB
Transponder ring part number: C23666938B (it's actually made by Mitsubishi).
Barrel part number: 3M51-3F880-CC
Ignition switch part number: BP4K-66-151B
