Ah yes how I miss my life back in France since Brexit. The peace, ambience, good food, nature and much more as an artist. So having an invitation from our good pals Lin and Brian, who now live at Le Dorat, to stay for a week was wonderful. It also allowed us to return to favourite places back in the Creuse, check out any paintings of mine that had sold, find new venues, and most of all enjoy celebrating my 73 rd birthday in their company. After which we had booked into a delightful Air B& B in La Rochelle. Delightful gardens and a chance to both enjoy the best of seafoods every day, what a treat!? Our hostess was even an an artist, as well. In this film I share the venues, wonderful aquarium, French restaurants ( all worth visiting again ), the French pastries, local concerts, brass bands, pretty villages, fishing, and painted 5 artworks over the period, which I show you. Such friendly people and I hope it inspires you to follow our footsteps.
