A calming and soothing ASMR page turning video, how does that sound to you? We have a stack of comic magazines from the 1970s, waiting for us to flip through. This was another lucky find from the local thrift store. 🙂
The comic book "Robbedoes" is well-known in Belgium, and was published as a periodical from 1938 until 2005. Today, we're perusing some issues from 1975.
"Robbedoes" is in fact the Dutch-language version of the Belgian, French-language comic magazine "Spirou", named after the hero from the comic "Robbedoes and Kwabbernoot" (in French: "Spirou et Fantasio"). The magazine was for sale in The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, New-Guinea and some other Dutch speaking communities.
"Robbedoes" featured amongst many other titles: Archie Cash, Natasja, Buck Danny, Dennis the Menace, Guust Flater, Beetle Bailey, De Smurfen and Lucky Luke.
