हुमायूं कबीर के मुर्शिदाबाद के बेलडांगा के जिस प्लॉट पर बाबरी मस्जिद की नींव रखी गई है, वहां आज जुम्मे के पहली नमाज में हजारों की भीड़ उमड़ी. नमाज बाद लोगों को दावत का इंतजाम किया गया है. करीब एक हजार लोगों के लिए खाना बनाया गया है. हजारों लोग प्रस्तावित साइट पर नमाज के लिए आए. जुमे के नमाज का जैसे ही वक्त हुआ सैकड़ों की संख्या में लोग प्रस्तावित मस्जिद साइट पर जुटे. तस्वीरों में साफ दिख रहा है कि हरी सरसों की खेतों को पार करते हुए लोग मस्जिद वाली साइट पर जा रहे हैं. लाउडस्पीकर से लोगों को रास्ता बताया जा रहा है. आयोजकों ने यहां आए नमाजियों के खाने का भी इंतजाम किया है.


Thousands gathered for the first Friday prayer at the plot in Beldanga, Murshidabad, where Humayun Kabir laid the foundation stone for the Babri Masjid. A feast was arranged for the congregation after the prayers, with food prepared for about a thousand people. Thousands of people came to the proposed site for prayer.

As soon as the time for Friday prayers arrived, hundreds of people gathered at the proposed mosque site. Photos clearly show people crossing green mustard fields to reach the mosque site. Loudspeakers are guiding people. Organizers have also arranged for food for the worshippers.
