EPISODE 47. My main focus of study was business and economics for practical reasons but it was my international studies, international economics, anthropology, archaeology, and international political science classes that were the most interesting. I didn't see a practical way to use these in a career. The classes fascinated me. This episode is about how my university years related to South America. From my youngest years until the time I actually visited it, it was as if South America was demanding I visit. My exposure to it started at the age of 3 living in Panama. It continued throughout the time I was growing up, as I was constantly exposed to information on South America. I cover this in previous episodes 40 to 42 and 44. The next episode, 48, will be the last of these. I will do a couple of future episodes on South American Magical Realism in literature and then start on some of my travels to South America.
