Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Acts 3:6

Summary of the sermon:
After Jesus ascended to heaven, his disciples did many amazing things in Jesus' name. One day, when Peter and John went to the temple, there was a man who had been unable to walk since birth. This man begged for money from Peter and John as they passed by.

At that moment, Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Amazingly, this man was able to walk and jump. Many people who saw this were shocked. People thought Peter and John had performed a miracle.

Peter spoke to the people who were looking at him and John with surprised eyes. "Everyone, this man's healing is not our doing. It is Jesus' work. Jesus has completely healed him in front of all people."

People's eyes grew even wider at Peter's story. And Peter told them that in the name of Jesus, who died on the cross and rose again, there is power to do amazing things.

When we pray in Jesus' name, Jesus protects and guards us anytime, anywhere. When we feel scared or fearful, Jesus gives us peace so we don't feel scared or afraid. When we are sick, Jesus helps us not to be sick. Jesus' name has amazing power.

Prayer:
Father God. Thank you for your grace and love. Let us always live my life believing in the power of Jesus' name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
