This is different from the spinning issue others have been having. My console will not accept discs.
EDIT (July 2016): I ended up bringing the console back to my local Best Buy and got it replaced. This was back in late 2013. Lately, the only issue I have had with my Day One edition is the HDD hiccuping during a firmware update.
