This show is a bloody masterpiece.

It's just. I don't know. So epic. First of all, the core of the whole show is FAMILY. The family aspect is also coming up all the time, it's not like those shows who say it's about family and end up only making ships and lovetriangles to keep the viewers happy. It's just. Amazing.
I mean, look at Elijah. The honest, kind man, who will do literally ANYTHING for his family. He will do anything to make them reunite again, like before. He's charming, kind, sweet, loyal, he keeps his promises and then at last, but not least, his breathtaking quotes about family... So gorgeous. This guy. How can anyone not love him.
First of all, his bond with Klaus is beautiful... How he keeps on forgiving Klaus and never gives up to find a way to make Klaus a better person. He fights for him, he believes in him... Beautiful.
And secondly, his bond with Rebekah is mutually gorgeous. The fact that we actually get to see the love in affectionate things like hugs, kisses on foreheads and tears, is a good change for once, seeing that Klaus&Elijah and Klaus&Rebekah have more of a deep-underneath-it-all-bond. If you know what I mean.
Then, Rebekah Mikealson. She's by far the most complex, yet beautiful character ever. On one hand she is this secure, bitchy girl, and on the other hand she is caring, loving, believing, inspiring, never giving up.. So many more things. There are just so many different sides to this girl. That is absolutely beautiful to see.
Her bond with Klaus is probably one of the ones they focused most on in the show. And I am really glad that they do, because that bond is so unnaturally deep.. I don't even know. She'll always love him and he'll always love her. No matter what happens. She just keeps on forgiving him, and he just keeps on regretting it, all for her.
Klaus is just such a complex, deep character that I'm not writing anything down until I've seen the very last of him.
And with the three of them.. Wow. Just.
'We stick together as one. Always, and forever.'

Then the ships, which come up as well, but are in the shadows of the family bonds. I have to say, I have not found a single ship I actually DISlike in this show.
My favorite ship is by far Rebekah and Marcel. Second, the breathtaking relationship between Marcel and Klaus. Third, Elijah and Haley. So sweet and great and perfect. And then the friendship between Rebekah and Haley.. SO GREAT! Finally, they both find a friend. I also have to admit that I actually like Klaus&Haley as well, the fact that their bond has grown and they are so much alike is something I'm falling for. Just as Klaus&Cami... No matter how many times Klaus sends her away to Marcel, she keeps ending up at Klaus's. Josh and Davina are too cute for words. Talking about Davina. How awesome is she? She's literally a badass yet sweet teenage girl who has the power of the world in her hands (also love the Elijah/Davina friendship that's building). I don't really have any opinions about Sophie yet.
So as I said, a lot of ships I like and not a single one I dislike.
