Friday Night Funkin is an upcoming rhythm video game developed by The Funkin' Crew Inc. and released on Newgrounds in 2020.[6] The game is developed by a small group consisting primarily of Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game is also open-source.[a] It shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution, PaRappa the Rapper, and the "Dance Contest" minigame from Club Penguin, and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games.[7] The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site that rose in popularity in the early 2000s.
The game revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of opponents in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay involves hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song.[11][12] There are currently nine levels in the game, alongside selected songs amongst the nine levels featuring more difficult remixes.
The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam on October 5, 2020.[13] An expanded demo was released on November 1, 2020, with updates continually released in the following months. A full version of the game backed by Kickstarter, titled Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game, is in development.[14] On July 15, 2025, the game released on IOS and Android devices.

Tails Gets Trolled is a webcomic series that was originally posted on the site DeviantArt beginning on October 10, 2011, with new pages being posted on Tailsgetstrolled.org since November 2019. It features alternate versions of characters from several different media properties, alongside original characters, in an absurdist story featuring multiple intricate plotlines going on at once. The comic did not pick up much interest until the website Something Awful discovered and began posting about the series in 2012, which put it into the Internet’s spotlight. Heaps of fan content was made about the work, and a community was eventually formed with many curious eyes watching the comic’s story unfold over the years.
It is also known for its distinctive art style and humor, which lead to many scenes from the comic becoming Internet memes.
Being such a unique piece of art, Tails Gets Trolled has garnered a wide variety of reactions from the public at large, while the quotes do not represent what the Internet as a whole thinks of the comic, it is clear that Tails Gets Trolled has left vastly different impressions on people as they read it, both good and bad. How you interpret the comic and what you view it as is entirely up to you in the end.
