STORYHIVE On Location: Vancouver with Beats Eats & MOARRR! ft. Ky

Right before venues worldwide closed, Ky jammed her foot in the door yelling “WAIT FOR ME!” The following year, she graduated with a diploma in live sound engineering—just in time for Vancouver, BC’s live music return. Over the past six years, she’s worked as a sound technician, stage manager, and event producer, supporting local bands, DJs, and festivals, and returning annually as props master for TED Talks. Now rooted in live event production, Ky has been Public Disco’s Event Coordinator for the past two years, driven by deep love for Vancouver’s music community.
