The first ever Douglas Anderson School of the Arts Jazz with Grads Concert, November 24, 2015. The second half of the concert was made up of Alumni from the DA Jazz Ensemble I. The peformers seen in this video are some of the now graduate professional musicians of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. These members of the Grad Band perform all over the world with various artists and/or are jazz artist in their own right. They came together the night before the concert with a two hour rehearsal and played this concert the next evening. It is with great appreciation to these graduates who came on their own from all parts for of the United States, Canada, and the world to be a part of this concert. This video is the full version of the second half of the concert in which the graduate band performed. The concert was in part a celebration of over 30 years of the Jazz Band Program at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts under the direction of Ace Martin.
