In this discussion, representatives from industry, NGOs and civil society organisations discussed the importance of privacy and the need to educate regulators and empower individuals with tools for sovereignty and privacy. They also discussed the role of newly implemented anti-money laundering regulations and the introduction of digital currency rules in the context of privacy, as they could challenge privacy norms.
