This is my evaluation of the Intuitive Circuits OSD-GPS+ board that does overlay of position, heading, altitude, and speed. Altitude seems not very accurate but not applicable when driving a car. Primary intent is to use this for Parachute Mobile air-to-ground video. This will give us position of jumper in addition to the APRS.
I purchased the single board, assembled it into a plastic “Budd box” with connectors to make it durable.
This video was done in March 2020, I didn't figure how to display correct date (not important at this time), but time in PST is correct. Video is NTSC analog, other than that kind of interesting. This was done just before Covid-19 SIP and also just before all Silicon Valley police depts went full encryption (exception CHP).
