Welcome back Witches and Wizards!
Today we discover what muggles call electricity ;)
This is more of an assambly guide.
I have a Maker's Beginner Kit from Bambu Lab which contains some non printed parts you can your enhance your 3d prints with.
I have always wanted to design something using 3D printed gears, so I thought this would be the perfect moment.
I wanted to see, if a small DC Motor like the one from the maker beginner kit could be used in reverse as a generator, since the working mechanism of both - motor and generator - are basically the same.
Since the LED candle light is the only other electronic part in the maker's beginner kit, I wanted to see if I can power it with my hand cranked generator.
You can find the files here:
I used the STLgear generator to generate the gears and did the other design in shapr3D.
I printed it this time on my bambu lab A1 Mini because my bambu lab P1S was mostly busy with another big print.
