Dji mini se replacement aircraft not connecting to remote controller … why???

I paid for the replacement aircraft from dji after a flyaway claim and tthey sent me the aircraft with one battery no controller ,i was hoping that the replacement would connect to the controller compatible with that mini se and after trying to connect /pair them like 10 times different ways as instructed in the dji fly app ,still doesn’t work, why do we have to go through this and still have to wait 2 more days for a phone call to tell us what?? That now we will have to pay for a controller?? Why they don’t make the information clear in their app or website? This is the 3 rd dji i have and the only problem i have beside the geofencing that they restrict us with on the app. Please help … if you know the effective solution please comment below or post a link or video response.
