Today we’re testing something truly special—my great grandfather’s Senator Regent fountain pen, unused for more than 70 years.
In this video, we’ll see if this vintage pen still works, how to clean it, whether it holds ink, and most importantly—will it actually write after all these years?
The Senator Regent was made in Germany in the 1930s–40s, and this particular pen last saw use before 1954. I’ll walk through the piston filling mechanism, clean the pen step by step, and then put it to the test on paper.
Bringing vintage pieces like a pen, a pocket watch, or other inherited items into your daily life is one of the best ways to elevate a gentleman’s style—it blends heritage, history, and quiet luxury in a way that feels both timeless and personal.
Hello everyone, I’m Scott, and on Landed Style I explore timeless living, classic men’s style, and the traditions of quiet luxury with new videos every week. Subscribe if that sounds interesting.
