Risto Huvila, author of "The Miracle of Israel and President Truman" and Chairman of the Federation of FInland-Israel Associations, speaks about Mr. Truman's crucial role on the birth of Israel in the seminar marking the 75th anniversary of UN adaption of the resolution 181 on partition of Palestine on November 29, 1947. Condluding words by Mr. Peter Östman, MP and Chair of the Israel Friendship Group in the Parliament of Finland, and the host of the seminar.
Other speakers of the seminar were Ambassador of Israel Hagit Ben-Yaakov, Ambassador of the United States Douglas T. Hickey, and Ambassador of Guatemala George de La Roche.
The seminar was held in the Parliament of Finland on Nov. 29, 2022.
