In 1962, Hugo Feed Mill made an investment in quality when they bought a Continental Mk III Rollo-Mixer®. Over six decades later, that same machine is still at the heart of their operation, blending textured feeds with unmatched consistency and care.
We were honored to visit General Manager Steve Marier, who welcomed us in to watch the original Mk III Rollo-Mixer® (still in daily use) blend a fresh batch of horse feed with 10% molasses.
Steve’s father, Joe Marier, purchased this very Rollo-Mixer® —the 37th ever built—from our dad back in December of 1962.
This is more than a story about equipment. It is a tribute to craftsmanship, reliability, and the power of doing things right—day after day, year after year.
