Absolutely safe to fly SQ’s B737.

In this trip report, join us as we fly Singapore Airlines Business Class (SQ184) from Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) to Ho Chi Minh City Airport (SGN). Starting at Terminal 2, immerse yourself in the all-new terminal where natural elements harmonise seamlessly with modern amenities, complemented by the renowned 24-hour SilverKris Lounge.

Take your time to explore Terminal 2, adorned with Changi’s signature horticultural displays and updated facilities. Afterwards, indulge in the diverse buffet offerings at the SilverKris Lounge, featuring cold dishes, savory delights, made-to-order options, and a selection of fine wines.

Boarding Singapore Airlines B737, we were greeted with a glass of Piper-Heidsieck Vintage Brut Champagne, marking it as the most luxurious welcome drink I’ve enjoyed onboard Singapore Airlines. A glass of wonderful bubbly helped me relax in the cozy 10-seater cabin with its 2-1-2 forward-facing configuration. Shout out to my standalone seat 12B which provided generous 22” width and convenient consoles on both sides for added comfort. Basically, a seat ideal for solo travellers.

During the flight, unwind in fully-flat beds extending over six feet long. For optimal comfort, especially if you have larger feet, consider removing your shoes before settling in. Given it was a quiet flight with fewer passengers, crew was super attentive, so it was all in all a brilliant experience!
