Meditations series introduction and impromptu korg OPSIX synth meditation

I'm not sure if it was preconceived notions about FM synthisis or the fact that when I purchased the OPSIX on the blowout deal, I kind of just shelfed it, but never imagined doing my 'meditations' on it!

In this video, I vaguely describe my synth meditation process and how I started making these. I have been doing them for a few years now, from time to time. Now, I have started to record them. I'd like to do them with some regularity. I'm not sure if once a day would be too much, but then pick my favorites and make an album or something.

Deffinently my expirimental side here, and not so much little synths, BUT I originally started making these with the DSI Tetra and would often lay in bed and 'meditate' before going to sleep. I wish I had recorded them, but at the time, I thought they had no value.

Not only do I find new sounds in my gear, but the meditative state is a very playful creative mindset that I think feeds my artist soul. The results are sort of interesting, in a raw experimental way. I hope you will try this out with your gear. I also hope this little clip is enjoyable and has some sort of artistic value to you.

I'm playing around with AI generated thumbnails because I was getting sick of the same old top down gear photos. But I am a creature of habit and might go back to them because after so long they start to feel like part of the charecter or brand. Also this AI stuff is misleading, I'm not going for click bait. "ooooh what rare synth is that!" oh wait, it's FAKE!
